Basit Raza
Lawyer & Sports Consultant
Basit is an experienced Sports Consultant and Lawyer. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Law Degree from City University, London, in 2016, he has obtained varied experience in legal practice areas to include, Commercial, Dispute Resolution and Property Law.
Since 2019, Basit has also increasingly focused his efforts on the sports industry, joining a Sports Agency in Central London as a Sports Consultant. He has continued to focus and operate in the Sports Industry as an Independent Sports Consultant, across Football, Cricket, and Boxing.
Basit works with players, athletes, agencies, brands and event partners, providing strategic commercial and legal support across a range of opportunities. He combines an understanding of the commercial sports landscape with a legal perspective, enabling him to consider both the opportunity and the contractual issues surrounding it. His approach is commercially focused, with direct involvement throughout each engagement.
His experience in the law and sports industry, in conjunction with his natural negotiation skills ensures Basit can give pragmatic legal advice in a clear and concise manner and meet the needs of clients.
